• He has an experience of more than 28 years and 30,000 Surgeries in the field of Minimal Access, Bariatric Metabolic Surgery & GI Surgery.

• He has trained more than 500 surgeons in the field of Bariatric and Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal Surgeries from India and SAARC Countries. 

• He is the President-Elect - OSSI (Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society Of India). He is the Treasurer of HSI (Hernia Society Of India). 

• He is an EC member and FALS Convener - IAGES (Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons). 

• He is a Faculty National Board of Examinations(NBEMS). 

• He is Visiting Professor at IRCAD, Taiwan.
